The Traveling Morgans have spent about 10 weeks in New York, but most of it was in the Catskill Mountains where we were working at Skyway Camping Resort. The time we had off did not make it easy to explore this well-documented wonder, but we found a few great places.

We also stopped in the incredible Letchworth State Park, which resembles soemthing you would see in the west.

There is a lot more sights to see in the Empire State, and we have seen a few of the them in the years before we became The Traveling Morgans.

The best known site, Niagara Falls, is well worth a visit and even worth entering a city.

We have not spent any serious time in any cities.
The Catskill Mountains are within easy reach of New York City, but we never wanted to spend time in the city. That is just our preference. Those who like cities and the works of man will want to see New York City.

We took a some drives through the Hudson Highlands, but there were no opportunities to stop and take pictures. The Hudson is quite scenic, but places to park anywhere in the vicinity of the city of New York are at a premium.

We also drove to the Delaware River, where a picture was feasible.
